Blood Curse II

When I was making the first Blood Curse,

I still had plenty of mixed ink left over, so I thought of making a follow-up. I'd also gotten an idea to have the runes "bleed out" from the parchment and onto the page. It's a little different than what I'd sketched out, seeing as how the "script" is a little less free-form than I'd started out with, but I think it works.

Also, I realized when sketching it out that the whole thing looked an awful lot like a game I'd been playing in Chrome called Entanglement. It's a really fun puzzle game where you have to arrange these hexagonal tiles to lead a red line on the most roundabout path you can find. [link]

The second upload I've made using my new scanner. This looks a little less pink than Blood Curse; I did a little more color balancing in GIMP this time around. Like I said, I'm getting used to it.
